The Flo standing and walking aid was designed to assist anyone with a lower body weakness to self elevate from a seated to a standing position unaided. The stick then also acts as an elegant walking aid, challenging the stigma of traditional medical devices. The product was granted two patents (UK and USA) and was crowned the winning design on BBC2’s “Design for Life” with Philippe Starck.
