GDS Process Alignment

As Head of Design Operations at Mindwave, I was keen to fully implement the principles of the GDS Service Standard through a structured framework that aligned with business needs and existing practices. I formed two models for this, one for our bespoke digital design services for clients and the second for our Saas products. This GDS framework could then be split into tiers for design services, offering various levels of GDS compliance depending on available budget, and could also be guaranteed for clients purchasing newly designed modules for our turnkey solution. To ensure the new framework could be implemented effectively internally, I developed templates for all design related activities for our junior designers and a GDS aligned project plan to assist our project managers.
