NHS Leadership Academy - Fast iteration

User research and service design for a digital healthcare leadership tool for Health Education England (HEE), the national leadership organisation for education, training, and workforce development in the health sector. In collaboration with Mhabitat, and Ayup, I explored the hypothesis that a digital tool could advance leadership skills in the NHS. Initial academic research carried out by Mhabitat informed a discovery phase followed by an alpha and beta phase, inclusive of A/B testing for the development of a native app, much of this was carried out through co-design activities in group workshops with practitioners, involving fast solution iteration. The NHS Leadership Academy use the app for both trainees, and qualified healthcare practitioners as a self-assessment tool which has helped thousands of healthcare practitioners to grow as leaders, develop their portfolios, secure job and course positions and manage their personal development plans.
